I glance at her
A familiar figure, a different person
a new person
she who I have never met
Oh !! her smile once so warm, warm as toast
Is cold, so cold, my bones shiver and freeze
she laughs at my jokes
a similar voice but a different sound
I listen to her
I fail to hear her
the person is no longer mine
she belongs to the world that I ain't thine
though she has not changed
the same person
she of yesterday
she of today
she of tomorrow

Sometimes suddenly you feel that your relationship with a person has changed. Their aura around you is no longer the same. The person you knew seems like a distant memory. A familiar voice a familiar laugh but a different feeling. Not with everybody; that particular person. Nothing has really changed but your proximity with that person has changed. The person is still the same but you no longer feel the same. It feels that you might topple down their arms and they will no longer try to hold on to you. You can anticipate your big fall........
You learn to value a moment when it turns into a memory..........
